Afternoon Film Series: “The Color Purple” (2023)
Our afternoon film series continues with a showing of the 2023 musical The Color Purple. The film is a musical adaptation of Alice Walker's novel, which tells the story of Celie, an African American woman living in the American South during the early 1900s, and her hardships and triumphs. Intermediate Mahjong
Are you a mahjong player? A group of experienced players meets weekly Tuesdays at 1 pm at the Library. Their roster is currently full, but tends to open up in the winter months. Interested players should send an email to lewisborolibrary@gmail.com to be placed on the wait list.
