Join our summer reading program for tweens & teens!!
How it Works:
Come to the Kickoff on June 20th at 7 pm. Learn the rules and sign up for our program. Enjoy an ice cream sundae, and get drenched with the return of water balloon mania. Bring a towel! Raindate: Monday 6/27.
OR
Come in to the Library and complete a summer reading log. Game rules, reading log pages and a BINGO board will be provided in your folder.
OR
If you choose to complete the program online, sign up on READSquared on or after June 20th.
Rules:
- Choose your own books, graphic novels, comics or audiobooks to read.
- Log in the number of pages you’ve read from each book title. Logs are provided in your library folder and on READSquared.
For every 200 pages you read, you earn one (1) raffle ticket to be used
towards a chance to win a prize.
Audiobooks are worth 300 pages, three (3) raffle tickets.
- Earn raffle tickets by attending library programs!
Each library program attended will earn you three (3) raffle tickets.
- Signup/Register in person at the Library OR register for Summer Reading at READSquared.
Create a Username and Password to register for the Teen Program.
- Record all of your books by Friday, August 12th
Come to the TEEN PRIZE PARTY on Tuesday, August 23rd where you can redeem your raffle tickets for a chance at winning prizes (and build your own ice cream sundae).
Raindate: Wednesday, August 24th

BINGO Board / Grand Prize:
Complete a line (5 boxes in a row) on the BINGO Board to be eligible for a chance to win the grand prize, an Amazon gift card. For each line completed you earn a special raffle ticket to be used towards a chance to win the grand prize. BINGO Boards are provided in your library folder and on READSquared. The more lines you complete on the BINGO Board, the greater the chance to win the Grand Prize!
Weekly Drawings:
Weekly drawings are held for a full-sized candy bar or a new book each week you log in your reads. So be sure to log your reading each week!
