Pop-Up Bakery Logo

Thank you for your overwhelming response – we are already sold out!!  Stay tuned for our December Pop Up Bake Sale!

Lewisboro Library is turning the traditional bake sale upside down. Welcome to the Pop Up Bakery featuring seasonal and holiday pastries available for limited engagements throughout the year. Our select local bakers offer unique items you’re unlikely to find in stores, as well as twists on all your traditional favorites.

Offerings are very limited, accepting pre-orders for Thanksgiving now through Saturday, November 21st.

100% of profits go to the Lewisboro Library…can you think of a sweeter way to make a donation to support your local library?

Pop Up Bakery Thanksgiving Offerings:

Poached Pear Frangipane Tart
9” tart (approx. 12 to 14 servings)
$32
Autumnal flavors are infused into this classic French tart.  Mulled red wine with vanilla bean, orange and clove gives a bit of drama to poached pears. Placed atop a decadent bed of frangipane (an almond pastry cream) and baked in a sweet pastry tart crust.
There are six tarts available for purchase – first come, first serve.

Pecan Bars

6 bars (Total weight 1.5 lbs)

$22

Full of pecans and flavored with a touch of bourbon, these bars fit the bill. Bursting with slightly salty, caramelized pecans over a pecan shortbread crust, these bars will hold their own on your Thanksgiving table.

There are eight batches available for purchase – first come, first serve.

To Pick Up: Your order will be available for pick up at Lewisboro Library on Tuesday 11/24 from 4pm to 7pm and Wednesday 11/25 from 10:30am to 7pm. After you place and pre-pay for your order, you will receive an email with instructions on contactless pick up.
