Via Zoom. For All Ages.
The Library is excited to announce “Tales from A Christmas Story,” a virtual reading taking place via Zoom. The reading is based on the autobiographical musings of author Jean Shepherd – and famously made into the 1983 film about Ralphie Parker and his quest for a Red Ryder BB gun. Join us for this humorous and heartwarming recounting of the Parker family’s Christmas-time experiences in small-town Depression-era Indiana. Only instead of gathering around your radio to listen to stories like in olden days, your family will be gathering around the computer screen!
The reading will be performed by James McGowan, a professional audiobook Narrator, Editor and Director. James has worked for the past 6 years for Jewish Books International, which provides audiobooks for the blind and reading impaired.
Please register below to receive your Zoom link, which will be emailed the day before.
