May is Mental Health Awareness Month. COVID-19 has changed a lot in our lives, and it’s OK if you’re feeling stressed, anxious, uncertain, isolated, angry or scared.
NY Project Hope is New York’s COVID-19 Emotional Support Helpline, to help New Yorkers understand their reactions and emotions during COVID-19. Through the helpline, educational materials, and trusted referrals, NY Project Hope helps people manage and cope with changes brought on by COVID-19. Talking to the trained Crisis Counselors is free, confidential, and anonymous.
This virtual presentation will go over the resources available from the Westchester Library System as a NY Project Hope provider. The program is sponsored by the Greenburgh, John C. Hart, Lewisboro and Mount Kisco public libraries in partnership with the Westchester Library System.
