(Virtual) I Didn’t Know That! Fun Facts about New York

August 25, 2020 @ 7:00 pm

William Seward's Statue in NYC

For Adults. Via Zoom.

Did you know that when Aaron Burr was being sued for divorce, his wife hired Alexander Hamilton’s son to represent her? Amusing and informative anecdotes are part of this fun history presentation by Art and Susan Zuckerman. You’ll learn interesting tidbits about New York history that the average New Yorker does not know – from why Houston Street is not in Texas, to the story behind the statue in NYC with Lincoln’s body and William Seward’s head!

The Zuckermans, who’ve given tours of NYC for over 15 years, also host a radio show and have appeared on the History Channel and Travel Channel.

You’ll never look at New York the same way again!

Co-sponsored by the Bedford Free Library.

A Zoom invite with link will be emailed the day before the program.

THIS PROGRAM IS FULL!  IF YOU’D LIKE TO BE PUT ON THE WAIT LIST, PLEASE EMAIL LEWISBOROLIBRARY@GMAIL.COM.
