August 24, 2026 @ 7:00 pm

Via Zoom. For Teens and their Parents.
Teens and parents won’t want to miss this 12-part series led by Anjanie Narine, author of Destination College: A Four-Year Plan for High School Students. Attend all 12 sessions, or as many as you are able. Each session will deal with a different topic. “The Transition Ahead” will focus on preparing for independence and success after high school.
The series is intended to help high school teens establish a personalized roadmap to guide them in the college process. You’ll learn how to make the most of your four years in high school, setting yourself up for success in college and beyond. Explore the importance of striking a balance between academics and extracurricular activities, discover effective ways to cope with stress and anxiety, and uncover the secrets of securing internships, volunteer opportunities, and apprenticeships. Prepare yourself for standardized tests, conduct thorough research on colleges and universities, and gain the confidence to ace your interviews and make informed decisions.
The program is presented in partnership with: Bronxville Public Library, Greenburgh Public Library, John C. Hart Memorial Library, Lewisboro Library, Mamaroneck Public Library, Mount Kisco Public Library, New Rochelle Public Library, Ossining Public Library, Port Chester-Rye Brook Public Library, Somers Library, Warner Library, and Yonkers Public Library.
