(Virtual) Coexist with Coyotes

May 11, 2022 @ 7:00 pm

Coyote sitting on a snow-covered field

Via Zoom.

There are few species in North America as misunderstood and maligned as the coyote. Yet to many, they are a symbol of resilience and a subject of admiration, a North American mascot and vital member of our ecological team. Please join us to learn about eastern coyotes, their history and ecology, and what we can do to best coexist with them.

Guest Speaker Dana Goin is the Wildlife Outreach Specialist at the Wolf Conservation Center in South Salem. She holds a degree in Wildlife Conservation, specializing in large and mid-sized carnivores including mountain lions, coyotes, and bobcats.

In partnership with the Pound Ridge Library.
A link to the recording of the program can be found HERE.  The passcode is: COY!051122. The recording will only be up until May 19.
There is also a Digital Coexistence Kit – a PDF that consolidates some of the information from the presentation.  It can be accessed HERE.
