(Virtual) Boredom Busters – Exploding Sidewalk Chalk!

Combining three of Miss Anna’s favorite things –science, art and explosions—we’ll be heading outside to decorate some drab walkways with Exploding Sidewalk Chalk!  We’ll be testing out two methods, so if you’d like to follow along, here’s what you need:

Exploding Sidewalk Chalk  

Ziploc baggies – sandwich size and/or film canisters

Food Coloring or watercolors

Cornstarch

Vinegar & Baking Soda and/or Alka seltzer

Water

Something to stir with
