Via Zoom. For Adults & Teens
Origami is the ancient art of paper folding. Teen Vihan J. has been leading a series of beginning origami classes as a community service to engage teens and adults in a fun and interactive activity. Some participants are more advanced, so we have added Advanced Origami Workshops on Friday afternoons for those who are interested in working with Vihan on more intricate models. Participants in the class can use their own paper, or arrange to pick up origami paper from the Library. Classes are small, registration is required. PLEASE REGISTER FOR EACH CLASS.
Registrants will receive the Zoom invite with link the day before.
A note from Vihan: “In order to help our neighbors dealing with food insecurity and working on the front lines during this very challenging time, I have set up a GoFundMe Page for anyone who would like to donate – 100% of proceeds will benefit the Daily Bread Food Pantry (a 501(c)3 non-profit that serves 700-800 families monthly in Danbury and surrounding areas) and to provide origami supplies to children of essential workers.” If you have any questions, please email [email protected].
