Under the Covers Book Club: “The Spellshop”

Romance books have had a recent surge of popularity in the last two years, and Lewisboro Library is jumping in with a meet-cute all our own! You’re invited to join our monthly romance book club, Under the Covers, led by our adult reference librarian Colleen Oakes. From modern to historical, our romance picks will be a wide selection of new, exciting, trending and diverse reads.

Our book selection for this month is The Spellshop, by Sarah Beth Durst. Described as a “Hallmark rom-com full of mythical creatures,” this romantasy debut centers on Kiela as she is forced to flee her life as a librarian of the most elite collection of spellbooks to her childhood home in a remote island. Following her as she opens her own secret spellshop while dealing with a nosy––and very handsome––neighbour, this novel and its sweet love will warm your heart.
