Under the Covers Book Club: “A Lady for a Duke”

Romance books have had a recent surge of popularity in the last two years, and Lewisboro Library is jumping in with a meet-cute all our own! You’re invited to join our romance book club, Under the Covers, led by our adult reference librarian Colleen Oakes. From modern to historical, our romance picks will be a wide selection of new, exciting, trending and diverse reads.

Under the Covers meets the first Monday of every month. Our book selection for this month is A Lady for a Duke, by Alexis Hall. This sweeping historical queer romance follows Viola Carroll, a trans woman who fakes her own death to escape her old life. Years later, she returns to help her former best friend, the grief-stricken Duke of Gracewood, recover from the traumas of war.
