The Usual Suspects meets on the fourth Thursday of every month. Our book selection for this month is Heartwood, by Amity Gaige. Based on a true story, it tells of a 42-year-old hiker who vanishes on the Appalachian Trail while a game warden and elderly birdwatcher investigate her mysterious disappearance.
