Sermons in Stone: The Stone Walls of New England and New York

Pound Ridge resident Susan Allport presents:  “Sermons in Stone: The Stone Walls of New England and New York” based on her 1994 book of the same name.

We’ll learn the surprising history of the walls that dot our local landscape, including why they were built, and who built them. The historical techniques of building a wall will also be discussed.

Presented by the Lewisboro Garden Club, which has rebuilt many stone walls at Onatru Park.
