This program has been postponed due to the weather. It will be rescheduled.
This celebration of African American poets, in honor of Black History Month, will focus on the works of Langston Hughes. Hughes was a prominent voice among emerging black artists that in the 1920s came to be known as The Harlem Renaissance.
The session will be geared toward discussion, and everyone is encouraged to take part. The Library will provide copies of the poems.
Our poetry discussions are led by David Sanders, a retired Professor of English and resident of South Salem.
