Poetry Discussion: African American Voices – New Date
March 1 @ 3:00 pm

Postponed from February 22.
This celebration of African American poets will focus on the works of Langston Hughes. Hughes was a prominent voice among emerging black artists that in the 1920s came to be known as The Harlem Renaissance.
The session will be geared toward discussion, and everyone is encouraged to take part. The Library will provide copies of the poems.
Our poetry discussions are led by David Sanders, a retired Professor of English and resident of South Salem.
