What is revealed when we see our lives through the lens of winter?
“The way a crow
Shook down on me
The dust of snow
From a hemlock tree
Has given my heart
A change of mood
And saved some part
Of a day I had rued”
– Robert Frost, “Dust of Snow”
Discussion will include Frost’s “Dust of Snow,” “The Woodpile,” “An Old Man’s Winter Night,” and “The Onset.”
The session will be geared toward discussion, and everyone is encouraged to take part. The Library will provide copies of the poems.
The program will be led by David Sanders, a retired Professor of English and resident of South Salem.
