Opera Night with the Londons

It’s a night at the Opera at the Lewisboro Library! Join us for an evening you won’t soon forget, and be transported by the London’s never-before-seen performance inspired by great literary works.

Nicole London, a mezzo-soprano, is thrilled to be singing in support of the Lewisboro Library. Nicole’s recent roles include Senta in scenes from Der Fliegander Hollander and Waltraute in Die Walküre with the American Wagner Festival, Frida Kahlo in Frida Kahlo and the Bravest Girl in the World with and Mother (cover) in Amahl and the Night Visitors with Central City Opera, Woman 1 in the regional premiere of Andrew Lippa’s Unbreakable with the Denver Gay Men’s Chorus, La Frugola, La Zia Principessa and Zita in Il Trittico as an alumni guest artist with Lamont Opera Theater and Dinah in Trouble in Tahiti with Denver Immersive Opera. In 2021, Nicole was selected as a national alternate for the NATSAA recital competition. Nicole has recently appeared as a soloist with the Playground Ensemble, Thornton Symphonic Band, the Evergreen Chorale and Chamber Orchestra and Broomfield Civic Orchestra and as an ensemble member with Bravo! Vail and the Philadelphia Orchestra. Nicole was formerly the Voice Area Coordinator at Regis University and is currently a touring artist and coach with Central City Opera. Nicole lives in Denver with her husband (a baritone), three children and golden doodle.
A native of Boulder, Colorado, Tony London’s recent engagements include Michele in Il Tabarro, Gianni Schicchi in Gianni Schicchi, and Figaro in Le Nozze Figaro with Lamont Opera, Superintendent Budd in Albert Herring, Masetto in Don Giovanni with CU Opera, Sam in Trouble in Tahiti with Denver Immersive Opera, ensemble in Rigoletto with Opera Colorado, the Judge in the premier of Packer by Boulder composer Daniel Kellogg, Baritone soloist in Mozart’s Coronation Mass, and Brahms’ Ein Deutches Requiem with the Broomfield Symphony and Baritone soloist with the National Repertory Orchestra, and chorus of Tosca at the Bravo! Vail Music Festival with the Philadelphia Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Yannick Nézet-Séguin of the Metropolitan Opera. Tony received his Performance Certificate from the University of Denver and received his Bachelor Degree in Voice Performance and Musical Theatre from the University of Colorado. Tony owns a successful DJ and live music production company, dj Maestro, where he is glad to employ many fellow musicians.
