For Grades K – 3
Step into the world of money smarts with our fun and interactive Financial Literacy Program for kids at the Library! In just three sessions, students will learn the basics of how money works, discover different ways people earn it, and explore how to make smart spending choices. Through hands-on games and activities, kids will build real-life skills like critical thinking and decision-making – all in a welcoming space made just for them. It’s not just about dollars and cents; it’s about confidence, curiosity, and being ready for the real world.
This program will be led by Jacob Green, a rising senior and youth educator who’s passionate about helping kids learn real-world skills – especially when it comes to money! He has worked with students as both a chess instructor and SAT tutor, and now he’s bringing that same energy to financial literacy. Jacob’s goal is to make money lessons fun, hands-on, and easy to understand. He recommends attending all three sessions, but it is fine if your child has to miss one.
