Celebrate National Library Week (April 19 – 25) and all that the Library offers the Community!
Calling all plushie pals and stuffed superstars!
Ever wonder what happens in the library after the lights go out? Do teddy bears browse the biographies? Do dinosaurs dance in the aisles?
In honor of National Library Week, we are hosting a Magical Stuffie Sleepover, and your favorite fuzzy friend is invited!
How the Adventure Works:
Step 1. Wear your pajamas and drop off your bravest stuffie with our Children and Teen librarians on Tuesday, 4/21, from 4:00-5:30 during our Magical Stuffie Sleepover Party!
We’ll help them “check in” and make a special name tag for the night! Then we’ll have hot chocolate and sleepover stories read by our teen volunteers and librarians for kids and stuffies alike! Next, you’ll leave your stuffie for their “Night at the Library!”
Step 2: That night, teen volunteers and librarians will capture photos of your stuffies having a sleepover as they explore the library, read stories, and maybe get into a little bit of (gentle) mischief! The stuffies will stay overnight in the library.
Step 3: Pick up your stuffie on Wednesday, April 22nd. Participants will get a certificate and printed photos of their stuffies enjoying their library overnight!
