Lewisboro Seniors Book Group: “The River is Waiting”

Our group meets in person on (usually) the third Wednesday of the month during the Lewisboro Senior Adults meeting at the Stevens Memorial United Methodist Church. The church is located at 9 Shady Lane, South Salem All seniors are welcome!
This month the group will be discussing The River is Waiting, by Wally Lamb. A young father causes a tragedy that tears the family apart. Sentenced to prison, he struggles to survive life on the inside, sustained by his hope that mercy and reconciliation might still be possible. Can his crimes ever be forgiven by those he loves?
