Lewisboro Seniors Book Group: “The Henna Artist”

Our group meets in person on (usually) the third Wednesday of the month during the Lewisboro Senior Adults meeting at the South Salem Firehouse. All seniors are welcome!

For the February meeting, the group will be discussing The Henna Artist, by Alka Joshi. The story tells of a young woman who escapes an abusive marriage and makes her way alone to the vibrant 1950s pink city of Jaipur. There she becomes the most highly requested henna artist — and confidante — to the wealthy women of the upper class.
