Our group meets in person on (usually) the third Wednesday of the month during the Lewisboro Senior Adults meeting at the Stevens Memorial United Methodist Church. The church is located at 9 Shady Lane, South Salem.  All seniors are welcome!

This month the group will be discussing The Book Club for Troublesome Women, by Marie Bostwick. This historical fiction novel is about four suburban housewives in 1960s Virginia who form a secret book club, inspired by Betty Friedan’s The Feminine Mystique, leading to their feminist awakening and personal transformations as they navigate societal expectations and find sisterhood.

The Library will provide copies of the book to all participants. Large print copies are also available upon request. Please contact the Library if you need a copy of the book – (914) 875-9004 or info@lewisborolibrary.org. The book is also available as an eBook and audiobook via Overdrive/Libby.
