Lewisboro Seniors Book Club “A Woman of No Importance”

This group usually meets in-person on the third Wednesday of the month during the Lewisboro Senior Adults meeting at the South Salem Presbyterian Church. The church is located at 111 Spring St, South Salem. All seniors are welcome!

This month the group will be discussing A Woman of No Importance: The Untold Story of the American Spy Who Helped Win World War II, by Sonia Purnell. This 2019 biographical book chronicles the life of Virginia Hall, a Baltimore socialite who became the first Allied woman deployed behind enemy lines and helped to light the flame of the French Resistance, revolutionizing secret warfare as we know it.
