Get ready for a taste of the NYC jazz scene, with a wild night featuring Cary Brown and O.M.S.!
Cary Brown and O.M.S. (Organic Music Synthesis) is a funky jazz and rock infused jam band that features all the dynamic improvised groove qualities of the best jam bands, combined with the musical versatility and precision of three seasoned veterans of the NYC area jazz scene.
Cary Brown, multi-keyboardist/producer/composer toured internationally throughout the 90s with Jamaican ska pioneers The Skatalites and the NYC based group The New York Ska-Jazz Ensemble. He has also performed and/or recorded with jazz legend John Scofield, Sloan Wainwright, and Rufus Wainwright. Joining Cary on drums is Joe Abba, one of the most in-demand groove players in the NYC area. Guitarist Paul Orbell fuses rock, jazz, country, and blues into his edgy, soulful guitar playing.
