The Lewisboro Library Book Group usually meets at the Library on the last Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m.
This month the group will be discussing Tom Lake, by Ann Patchett. The book explores youthful love, married love, and the lives parents have led before their children were born. Both hopeful and elegiac, it explores what it means to be happy even when the world is falling apart. (If you are an audiobook user, this story is beautifully narrated by Meryl Streep.)
Books are available through the Westchester Library System and copies are often ordered in advance for members to pick up at the Library. New members are always welcome in this adult, co-ed book group. For more information contact Myrna or Steve Shomstein at (914) 533-2550.
