Lewisboro Library Book Group: “The Gift of Rain”

The Lewisboro Library Book Group now meets at the Library on the third Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m.
This month the group will be discussing The Gift of Rain, by Tan Twan Eng. This historical fiction set in WWII-era Malaysia, is about a half-Chinese, half-English teenager who forms a deep bond with a Japanese diplomat and aikido master, only to be caught in a devastating conflict of loyalty when Japan invades.
Books are available through the Westchester Library System and copies are often ordered in advance for members to pick up at the Library. New members are always welcome in this adult, co-ed book group. For more information contact Myrna or Steve Shomstein at (914) 533-2550.
