Lewisboro Library Book Group: the creation of the Oxford English Dictionary

The Lewisboro Library Book Group usually meets at the Library on the last Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m.
The group is reading TWO books this month, both about the creation of the Oxford English Dictionary. The nonfiction selection is The Professor and the Madman: A Tale of Murder, Insanity and the Creation of the Oxford English Dictionary, by Simon Winchester. The historical fiction novel dealing with the same subject is The Dictionary of Lost Words, by Pip Williams.
Books are available through the Westchester Library System and copies are often ordered in advance for members to pick up at the Library. New members are always welcome in this adult, co-ed book group. For more information contact Myrna or Steve Shomstein at (914) 533-2550.
