Lewisboro Library Book Group: “Small Mercies”

The Lewisboro Library Book Group meets at the Library on the last Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m.
This month the group will be discussing the Small Mercies by Dennis Lehane. The novel is set in Boston in summer 1974, during the tense days approaching the start of the school year at the height of the Boston busing crisis, when the city’s desegregation of its public schools exploded in violence.
Books are available through the Westchester Library System and copies are often ordered in advance for members to pick up at the Library. New members are always welcome in this adult, co-ed book group. For more information contact Myrna or Steve Shomstein at (914) 533-2550.
