The Lewisboro Library Book Group usually meets at the Library on the last Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m.
This month the group will be discussing the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel Beloved, by Toni Morrison. Set in the period after the American Civil War, the novel tells the story of a dysfunctional family of formerly enslaved people whose Cincinnati home is haunted by a malevolent spirit.
Books are available through the Westchester Library System and copies are often ordered in advance for members to pick up at the Library. New members are always welcome in this adult, co-ed book group. For more information contact Myrna or Steve Shomstein at (914) 533-2550.
