Lewisboro Library Book Group

The Lewisboro Library Book Group will now meet at the Library on the third Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m.
This month the group will be discussing The Inheritance of Loss, by Kiran Desai. Set in the 1980s, the novel follows parallel stories in the Himalayas and New York City, focusing on an old judge, his orphaned granddaughter, and his cook’s son, as they navigate cultural clashes, economic inequality, and the lasting impacts of colonialism.
Books are available through the Westchester Library System and copies are often ordered in advance for members to pick up at the Library. New members are always welcome in this adult, co-ed book group. For more information contact Myrna or Steve Shomstein at (914) 533-2550.
