How YOUR Pet Can Become a Therapy Dog

Do you want to learn how to train your family pet to be a Therapy Dog?

Come meet Renee and Stanley, a Pet Therapy team from ROAR (Ridgefield Operation Animal Rescue). Renee will discuss how to get your dog licensed as a therapy dog and the training involved.

Pet Therapy teams go into schools, libraries and senior facilities to let people interact with the animals. A team comes to our Library on the first Thursday of the month at 4 pm for “Tales for Tails,” a reading enrichment program for children.
