Family Fun Saturday: Nature Shadow Boxes

For all ages.
Our friends from the Lewisboro Garden Club are holding a workshop for children on how to make Nature Shadow Boxes. The boxes are inspired by the work of artist Joseph Cornell, famous for his boxed assemblages created from found objects.
Each child will work with found objects, paint, glue and nature materials to create an environment in their individual box. They will learn about Cornell as they assemble their works of art.
Participants should bring a small box or shoe box to be used as the base for their shadow box.
Space is limited, please register your child below.
