Birding Walk with Lewisboro Land Trust

Did you enjoy our recent Birding 101 lecture? Time to put your skills to use! The Lewisboro Library and Lewisboro Land Trust are pleased to invite the community to observe and learn about birds on a walk at the Old Field Preserve in Waccabuc. The walk will be led by Bedford Audubon naturalist Tait Johansson. This program is good for all levels of birding experience, and is best for adults and kids 8+. Binoculars are helpful, but not required. Steady rain will cancel the program.

COVID SAFETY: All participants will be masked and socially distanced, with the option of using one of our provided audio headsets to hear the walk leader at a distance. The entrance to Old Field Preserve is on the East side of Mead Street (at the intersection of Schoolhouse Road) in Waccabuc. There’s plenty of parking in the preserve and on the side of the preserve driveway.
