Bike Safety Storytime

For Ages 5 – 8

No school today, so come join the fun (there will be crafts and giveaways) and learn about bicycle safety. A member of the Department of Public Works and Transportation – Traffic Safety Office will read a story, and then go over safety tips including:

• Find a helmet that fits
• Wear your helmet correctly
• Find safe places to ride
• Learn the rules of the road
• Be visible
