Culinary Historian Peter G. Rose, who has just completed her 10th book, History On Our Plate: Historical Recipes from America’s Dutch Past for Today’s Cook, presents a lecture on Dutch foods and their American adaptations through the centuries. The presentation features depictions of Netherlandish 17th-century paintings of food which give insight into the colonial diet and food practices, as well as a book signing and tasting featuring recipes from her new book.
