Our afternoon film series continues with a showing of Tár, another of this year’s Academy Award contenders for best picture.

The film stars Cate Blanchett as Lydia Tár, the groundbreaking conductor of a major German Orchestra whose incredibly accomplished life comes crashing down around her after a series of scandals come to the surface.
