Afternoon Film Series: “Dead Poets Society”

The theme of our September film series is “Back to School.”
In this 1989 film, Robin Williams plays a new English teacher at a stuffy New England prep school, who encourages the students to think different, to seize the day (carpe diem) and to stand up for what is right.
The film won the Oscar for best screenplay.
