Afternoon Film: “Sense and Sensibility”

This month we are celebrating the 250th birthday of novelist Jane Austen, by showing the film adaptations of two of her most-loved books. Watch the movie and stay for “Tea” – both the drink and fun tidbits about the film!

The best and most critically acclaimed movie adaptation of Sense and Sensibility is this 1995 version, directed by Ang Lee and written by and starring Emma Thompson. It earned an Academy Award for its screenplay, and also starred Kate Winslet, Hugh Grant, and Alan Rickman.
