Afternoon Film – “Hamnet”

It’s awards season, so our film series this month is showcasing two films up for Best Picture this year!

A Golden Globe winner for Best Picture Drama, Hamnet is nominated for 8 academy awards, including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Actress. The film dramatizes the family life of William Shakepeare, his wife Agnes Hathaway and their son Hamnet. It is based on the bestselling 2020 novel by Maggie O’Farrell.
