Apply for a New Card:
Use the Library Card Form below, email us at info@lewisborolibrary.org, call us at (914) 875-9004 or visit our library to obtain a free Lewisboro Library card or obtain a replacement if your card is lost. You must live, work, or pay taxes in the town of Lewisboro. If not, the Westchester Library System will provide you with full library service for $75 per year or $35 per year for those 65 and over. ID showing your current address is required or proof of employment within the Town of Lewisboro. Children under 18 must designate a parent or legal guardian. A new library card will be mailed or issued for you while you are here.
If you have a PO Box to receive mail. please provide that information as well as your physical address.
Your Lewisboro Library Card is honored at all libraries within the Westchester Library System. You must present your library card or display your digital library card to check out any materials.
If you work in Lewisboro, but live in another Westchester community, you should obtain your library card from the community library where you live. A patron may only have one card in the Westchester Library System.

Renew Your Existing Library Card:
If your library card is no longer valid, it usually means you need to renew your card. Library cards are valid for three years after issuance or renewal. This allows us to ensure we have the most accurate information for you. You will receive a notice soon before your card is about to expire. Your privilege can be renewed over the phone. Please call the Library at 914-875-9004 or email us at info@lewisborolibrary.org. Of course, you’re always welcome to stop by.
Replace an Expired Library Card:
If your library card is no longer in our database, we will ask that you stop by and register for a new card. Please be sure to bring identification showing your current address or proof of local employment. If you cannot bring in your proof of residency, you can email it to info@lewisborolibrary.org.
Replace a Lost Library Card:
To get a replacement for a lost library card, stop by the library. Please bring ID showing your current address or proof of employment within the Town of Lewisboro. If you cannot bring in your proof of residency, you can email it to info@lewisborolibrary.org. The replacement charge for a lost card is $1.
Overdrive, Libby or Kanopy user?
Please notify the Library if you download eBooks or audiobooks or watch media using Overdrive, Libby or Kanopy. This information is needed to ensure that your Overdrive, Libby or Kanopy account still works properly once the card number is replaced.
