Lewisboro Library is thrilled to announce your 2025 Summer Reading Program theme: “Color Our World”! For 2025, we invite you to embark on a journey of art and creativity, celebrating the myriad ways in which art enriches our lives. Our program is designed to inspire and engage readers of all ages through a diverse array of artistic expressions.
As part of our 2025 Summer Reading program we will be hosting a “Color” themed program every Tuesday afternoon at 4:00pm in the children’s room.
Children may only register for and complete the 2025 Summer Reading program ONCE.
Registration
Register for Summer Reading in one of three ways:
a) Save the date for the Kickoff Party on June 24th from 3:00 to 4:00.
b) In the Library for those who can’t make the Kickoff.
c) Online at READsquared.
To Register for READsquared
If you choose online, register for Summer Reading at READsquared on or after June 24th.
- The parent creates an account: Use your name, email, username, password and designate your age as 19+
- Add reader(s): only requires name and age
- Add child reader to reading program: Kids Color Our World

To Log Reading
Children in Grades K-2 Log by Day
Children in Grades 3-5 Log by Hour
- Go to child’s profile
- Click Log
- You will be prompted to choose to log by day or hour
- Each log is for 1 day or hour
- Complete additional logs to add more days or hours.
- Every 5 days or hours your child will receive a prize, up to 25 days or hours!
Don’t forget to pick up your prize at the library!
Summer Reading Prizes
For children entering Kindergarten through Grade 2 we will be tracking their reading by day. Every 5 days of reading earns your child a prize, up to 25 days. For children entering 3rd grade through 5th grade we will be tracking their reading by hour. Every 5 hours earns a prize, up to 25 hours of reading.
All summer reading participants are welcome to participate in our Summer Reading Bingo Board. Each child can earn a raffle ticket for each bingo, (5 squares across, up, or down). There is a limit of 5 raffle tickets per child. There will be two raffle winners. The first raffle winner will receive a $15 gift card to Debra Ann’s. The second raffle winner will receive a $30 gift card to Books on the Common. The raffle will be closed for entries on Tuesday, August 12th, 2025. Winners will be announced and contacted on Wednesday, August 13th, 2025.
Logging Your Bingo Board in READsquared
The Bingo Board is located on Read Squared under the Logging tab.
- Click Logging Tab on your child’s profile
- Scroll down page to view full digital version of Bingo Board
- Click on Bingo Square and select Complete Activity
- Once you have 5 squares in a row completed you will earn a special activity badge!
- Remember to notify the librarian when you have completed 5 squares in Bingo to get your raffle ticket.
*Children can earn up to 5 raffle tickets from their Bingo Sheets.
If you have a child who is not yet in school but is interested in participating in Summer Reading, please ask us about 1000 books before Kindergarten. There will be Summer Prizes for children who read up to 100 books over the summer.
