Due to budget limitations, effective February 1, 2026, the limits for Hoopla and Kanopy have been reduced.
The new limits for Hoopla are 3 borrows per month.
The last 7 days of each month, unlimited, borrows from a hoopla curated Bonus Borrows collection are available. Choose from a selection of TV shows, movies, comics and manga, eBooks, and audiobooks without using your monthly borrows.
WLS is aware that some patrons may have difficulty borrowing hoopla items. Unfortunately, there are limited choices because of budget constraints. We encourage you to check out other digital resources like Libby, ComicsPlus, Freading, and Kanopy.
There is a maximum number of loans for the combined libraries in the Westchester Library System. That number flips over to zero at 12:05 am. It is recommended that you borrow a title as close to this time as possible.
Kanopy is limited to 5 tickets per month.
