It’s another Pop Up Boterkoek Bake Sale – just in time for Valentine’s Day!
Looking for something sweet for your special someone? We’ve got you covered! Author and culinary historian Peter G. Rose is once again baking 12 of her famous Boterkoek (Dutch shortbread) as a fundraiser to benefit the Lewisboro Library.
Anyone who has attempted to buy these mouth-watering “butter cakes” during our Pop-Up Bake Sales knows they sell out quickly, so order yours today! Boterkoek stays fresh for up to two weeks in the refrigerator and freezes very well.
Each cake is 8” round and approximately 1-3/4 pounds of buttery goodness. The cost of each Boterkoek is $30, payable to the Library.
Order your Boterkoek today by going HERE. Buy one to gift someone – or purchase two so you have one for yourself! Pick-up will be after 12 pm on Thursday, February 12.
Thanks to Peter’s generosity, 100% of profits go to the Lewisboro Library… can you think of a sweeter way to support your local library?
