Please join us in welcoming our new Teen Librarian, Jane Rothschild, who will begin work at the Library on Monday, January 4.
Jane describes her public library experience as a mosaic. It includes work in circulation, technical services, adult and children’s reference, and at several locations within the Westchester Library System. She is very excited about the challenge of rounding out that experience working with young adults at Lewisboro. Jane says she considers herself lucky to benefit from the solid foundation made by Dolores, the staff at Lewisboro Library, and all the volunteer collaborators – and hopes to build on that by sharing a love of learning and creating, and stretching her skills to develop activities that keep the teens coming back for more. She’s looking forward to making 2021 a happy, fun adventure for the teens of Lewisboro!
