DESCRIPTION:Our afternoon film series continues with a showing of Women Talking\, another of this year’s Academy Award contenders for best picture. \n\n\nWomen Talking is inspired by real-life events that occurred at the Manitoba Colony\, a remote and isolated ultraconservative Mennonite community in Bolivia. In 2010\, the women and girls of the colony discover that the men have been using cow tranquilizer to subdue and rape them. The attackers are arrested and imprisoned in a nearby city. Most of the men of the colony travel to oversee the bail\, leaving the women by themselves for two days to determine how they will proceed. The women meet to talk and vote on whether to stay and do nothing\, stay and fight\, or leave. \n  \n\nSpace is limited\, please register below.

Players work collaboratively through a series of adventures\, gathering treasure and experience points along the way. The group meets monthly. DESCRIPTION:Our group meets in person on (usually) the third Wednesday of the month during the Lewisboro Senior Adults meeting at the South Salem Firehouse. All seniors are welcome! \nFor the April meeting\, the group will be discussing West with Giraffes\, by Linda Rutledge. The story is inspired by the incredible true story of two giraffes who made headlines and won the hearts of Depression-era America \nThe Library will provide copies of the book to all participants.
