DESCRIPTION:Our group meets in person on (usually) the third Wednesday of the month during the Lewisboro Senior Adults meeting at the Stevens Memorial United Methodist Church. The church is located at 9 Shady Lane\, South Salem All seniors are welcome! \nThis month the group will be discussing There There\, by Tommy Orange. This award-winning novel follows twelve characters from Native communities\, all traveling to the Big Oakland Powwow\, who converge and collide on one fateful day. Their chorus of voices tells of the plight of the urban Native American. \nThe Library will provide copies of the book to all participants. Large print copies are also available upon request. The monument commemorates an important site and event in LGBTQ+ history. It encompasses Christopher Park\, located across the street from Stonewall Inn\, a bar in the heart of Greenwich Village.
