He is the author of the New York Times bestseller Eleanor\, a biography of Eleanor Roosevelt published in October of 2020. His extensive research produced a riveting account of Eleanor Roosevelt’s inspiring journey from orphaned niece of President Theodore Roosevelt to settlement house volunteer on the Lower East Side to a partner in New York’s most important power couple. As the nation’s longest serving First Lady\, she was known as a voice for the voiceless and a proponent of international human rights. \nDavid Michaelis grew up in Cambridge\, Mass.\, and Washington\, D. C.\, was educated at Concord Academy and Princeton University. In addition to Eleanor\, he is also the author of several nonfiction books\, as well as the critically acclaimed bestsellers N. C. These record high numbers of applications resulted in record low acceptance rates. \nDiscover the importance of researching and visiting colleges to find schools that can be a good fit for your child and other actions steps to take this spring for a smoother college admissions process. Learn what admissions officers consider important when they review applicants\, and how students can position themselves to develop a compelling narrative to increase their chances for admission. \nWe will also discuss the importance of community service\, how it provides personal growth and an opportunity to showcase a student’s character.
