DESCRIPTION:For All Ages \n\nThe saga of Trumpet the Miracle Wolf Pup continues! At the Wolf Conservation Center in South Salem\, Trumpet and Lighthawk are now a bonded pair. As spring blooms\, Trumpet’s belly grows\, and soon\, three tiny wolf pups arrive! Based on true events at the Wolf Conservation Center\, Trumpet the Miracle Wolf Pup: Trumpet Becomes a Mom will fill your family with joy\, while starting a conversation with your kids about the importance of saving endangered species. \nThe Storytime will be followed by a special activity led by a Wolf Conservation Center staff member. Books will be available for sale. \nAuthor Leokadia George was volunteering at the Wolf Conservation Center when she became inspired to write a story about Trumpet. She decided to share Trumpet’s story to help dispel the “bad wolf” image and highlight conservation efforts with the milestones in Trumpet’s life. 50% of the author’ profits from the Trumpet the Miracle Wolf Pup series will be donated to wolf conservation efforts to save this species from extinction. \nTrumpet gave birth to these 3 puppies on the live webcams at the Wolf Conservation Center. DESCRIPTION:Grades K – 5 \nIn this program\, children will read to therapy dogs\, which helps children develop their reading skills and their sense of compassion. They will also learn about animal-savvy behavior and volunteerism. \nThe program will be led by volunteers from ROAR (Ridgefield Operation for Animal Rescue). It will take place on the first Thursday of each month (excluding January\, which is New Year’s Day!) \nThere are four 15-minute time slots available –  4:00 pm\, 4:15 pm\, 4:30 pm and 4:45 pm. Siblings share a time slot\, so if you are bringing siblings\, please only register one FAMILY.) There will be two therapy dogs\, so two families can register per time slot. \nPlease register below for your desired time slot (the first one is 4 pm\, second is 4:15 pm\, etc). \nSince the time slots are only 15 minutes\, please arrive promptly so you don’t miss any of your time! \nNote: photographs are often taken at our events to post on social media and our website. DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Our Nightclub Concerts!*\n \nOn Friday\, November 21\, the band “Susan Said” returns to the Library stage\, following their sold-out performance two years ago! This alternative rock band from NYC has been playing for over 30 years. It features lead singer/songwriter Susan Wilson-Sed\, Matthew Rocchio on bass\, Brendan Saadat on lead guitar and Todd Budich on drums. A popular local favorite\, the band has toured the US\, Europe\, and Canada\, and released 4 albums. \nReserved seating is $45 per person. Price includes beer\, soft drinks\, wine and light bites. Doors will open at 7:00 pm. \nThis event is a benefit for the Lewisboro Library.
