DESCRIPTION:It’s another exciting Evening of Jazz at the Library – this time featuring The Keith Gurland Trio with Lewisboro’s Matt Rocchio! \nSax man Keith Gurland is a versatile multi-instrumentalist whose diverse resume includes classic big bands (Glenn Miller\, Tommy Dorsey and Artie Shaw Orchestras)\, pop/rock icons (Frankie Valli\, The Four Tops\, Micky Dolenz)\, and showbiz luminaries like Shirley Jones and Rita Moreno. He has performed in 48 states and 24 countries\, but calls Pawling his home. Joining Keith for this evening of American songbook classics\, are Matt Rocchio on bass and Art Lillard on drums. \nOur Special Guest Vocalist that night is Heather Mieko Lackey. Heather has performed off Broadway\, as well as all over the country in National Tours of The King and I\, Buddy: the Buddy Holly Story\, and Cats.
