You’ll learn how to make the most of your four years in high school\, setting yourself up for success in college and beyond. Explore the importance of striking a balance between academics and extracurricular activities\, discover effective ways to cope with stress and anxiety\, and uncover the secrets of securing internships\, volunteer opportunities\, and apprenticeships. Prepare yourself for standardized tests\, conduct thorough research on colleges and universities\, and gain the confidence to ace your interviews and make informed decisions. \nThe program is presented in partnership with: Bronxville Public Library\, Greenburgh Public Library\, John C. DESCRIPTION:For All Ages – Families\, Teens and Adults \nDo you want to learn how to train your family pet to be a Therapy Dog? \nCome meet Renee and Stanley\, a Pet Therapy team from ROAR (Ridgefield Operation Animal Rescue). Renee will discuss how to get your dog licensed as a therapy dog and the training involved. \nPet Therapy teams go into schools\, libraries and senior facilities to let people interact with the animals. A team comes to our Library on the first Thursday of the month at 4 pm for “Tales for Tails\,” a reading enrichment program for children. \nPlease register all family members who will be attending.
